Description

This organically produced dried yeast from Health Connection is a vegan's dream for two reasons:

Firstly, it has a naturally delicious cheese-like taste, which can be used to enhance the flavour of vegan and vegetarian casseroles, soups & sauces.
Secondly, it's high in vitamin B1, B2 and B6, which can be hard to find in large amounts if you follow a vegan diet. Nutritional yeast is high in protein and folic acid as well.

Please Note: Health Connection Nutritional Yeast is a condiment and a dietary supplement; not suitable as a raising agent for baking.

Store in a cool dry place. After opening, store in an airtight container.

This is nice over some dishes such as pasta and soup, but I find the flavor rather subtle, and so it doesn't add a big flavor boost. I would rather get it for it's nutritional benefits rather than it's taste.

Wonderful nutritious vegan cheese alternative. I love sprinkling this over my cold and warm foods and mixing into sauces. I cant picture life without this substitute anymore.

Great tasting vegan cheese alternative. A bit pricey for the quantity but SO WORTH IT. Works well for a vegan mac n cheese!

This has great flavour without adding salt. We like to sometimes reduce salt and some people need low sodium diets - I have given all mine away to a family member who really enjoys using it!
