Directions:

Peel off the plastic wrapper, centre the pad on your underwear, press it down, and fold the wings underneath.
To dispose of: remove the pad from your underwear, wrap it in toilet paper or a pad wrapper, and put it in a waste bin.

They are thin, but the back is long and wide. Longer than most pads. They worked well as discreet maternity pads for heavy flow.

Disappointed that they cost SO much, and still had plastic in them - while the intention is great, and the overall product was great it just seems like oversight to go to all this trouble, and have to worry about plastic in our environment. Would rather support SA made plastic free Anna Pads.

I’ve been using Gentle Day pads for just over a year now. They live up to the hype and can handle a lot of liquid, especially in the heavy days of the period or post-op. Great for peace of mind on busy days. No smell, very quiet and the pads are nice and long so no surprise leaks. They are more expensive than other brands but because they have more capacity you end up needing to use less pads during your cycle, so less going to landfill. Not everyone is able to wear a cup or tampons so this is a good alternative. They are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 verified if you’re looking for something to replace your current brand. They’re also great on sensitive skin. Give them a try.
