Directions:
- For first-time users, use African Black Soap every second day so it doesn't dry your skin too much.
- After building up tolerance after 3 weeks, you can increase frequency to 1 - 2 x daily

- Can be very drying for first-time users.
- For first-time users, do not combine with AHAs/BHAs in the first week, as it might cause irritation.

Have you purchased Standard Beauty African Black Soap before?

I have been struggling with acne for most of my teenage and adult life. I have tried numerous products with no/minimal improvement. What has helped is reducing my sugar intake and using this soap. Its the only product that really have helped with my acne and still is the only product that I use for acne in my skin care routine.
Disclaimer: this soap STRIPS your skin and you need to use a moisturizer, especially if you have sensitive skin or dry skin. My recommendation is to use it once a day and for your second wash of the day, rather then use a gentle cleanser
Unfortunately my daughter had quite a bad reaction after a week of using every second day as recommended. She broke out in a very bad, raised rash, her skin is sensitive but acne prone & it was looking quite good, not sure why the delayed reaction.
I also had a breakout from this product as well. Not sure if it is the product/brand. I will be trying a different brand. It leaves the skin very dry also.
I struggled with problem skin for many years. My daughter introduced me to Standard Beauty African Black Soap. I have been using it for almost a year now. My skin does not have break outs, it is soft and smooth. I am loving using Standard Beauty African Black Soap.
