Description

Tahini is more than a tasty snack – it’s also full of minerals like calcium, phosphorus, lecithin, magnesium, iron and potassium. You’ll find sesame seeds are a better source of protein than most nuts, and they’re full of B vitamins as well. Tahini is a high alkaline food, which makes it easy for your body to digest. It’s a rich source of “good” fats (unsaturated fats), filled with the goodness of pure crushed sesame seeds.

Oh Mega is a proudly South African brand of tasty nut butters and spreads made using pure, hearty natural ingredients, which means they’re packed full of flavour and health benefits.

I love it, tahini is one of my favourite things. However, I do prefer Natures Choice brand, as it is a lot more creamy and tasty. This one has an ever so slight bitter taste with it. But I will easily buy it again

I bought this for making hummus. Needless to say, I am on the hunt for a good hummus recipe still. The Tahini is great and I like that there are no questionable additives in it.

I use this Tahini in my smoothies to make them creamy and calcium rich. I love that the Oh Mega Tahini comes in a glass jar.

Have really enjoyed eating this as a spread by itself though I imagine it be great for hummus etc too. It is like a non-sweet nut butter. Love it!

Out of all the different Tahini's I have tried in South Africa, this one is my favourite. Firstly, it's the most affordable and secondly - it only has sesame seeds in it, no additives, preservatives, firming agents etc. It tastes great and it works really well in a tahini salad dressing and a home made hummus. Would 100% recommend Oh Mega Tahini!
