This soap has a smooth luxurious lather which I find soothing. It has a deep cleansing action however does not leave my skin dry . I think it must be the tee tree oil. I have been using this charcoal soap as part of my annual detox program. The main ingredient I was after is the charcoal which I know tends to draw out toxins from the body. After using it my skin feels squeaky clean. Since I have started using this soap I have received comments that my skin looks good. I would highly recommend this to somebody with dry skin who needs something that cleanses yet moisturizes and hydrates the skin.

Bought this for a friend who has sensitive skin and suffers from breakouts, she loves it! Will need to buy one to test it out!

Absolutely love this soap. Only problem is it finishes really quickly so next time I plan on buying the bigger bar.

I have sensitive skin and I am allergic to a lot of chemicals plus I am into plastic. I have used other charcoal soaps which have been quite harsh on my skin, not to mention that their granules are quite rough even though I would lather the bar between my hands or with a cloth. However, this charcoal bar is soft and leaves my skin pretty clean.

My skin is not particularly sensitive but this soap is riddled with lye pockets therefore causes burning. The oily patches around my nose and chin are clear so it solves one problem but creates another. Will definitely not be buying this again.
