Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp 15W Spare Globe

I bought my lamp through FTN so naturally buy my globes here as well, but at the rate that I am going through globes I'm starting to feel like getting rid of my lamp. Some of the globes work fine and last a while, and some I've had only last 2 weeks, which is super frustrating because if the globe stops working and I am not home to notice and replace it immediately, the lamp starts melting.

This is a great replacement. My salt lamp runs 24/7 and this little bulb lasts about 3-6 months. it heats up the lamp nicely too which prevents the lamp from "sweating". If you experience a lot of power dips after loadshedding, I suggest you add a surge plug to your salt lamp as the surges have blown my last 2 bulbs - it's not the fault of the bulb, rather the fault of Eskom.

I am not sure if it is the bulbs or the fitting. We have 4 salt lamps and 2 of them blow a bulb within a few days, the others last 3 to 4 weeks. It gets quite expensive....

Unfortunately the new replacement globe blew immediately. Not sure, but I suspect it is my Hymalayan lamp. It is a great pity though.

These last on average a couple of weeks before blowing. Eurolux is even worse! I even bought a replacement cord which did not help. The only brand I have found that lasts is one called Illumenova. My current globe is now going for 2.5 months already which is a record for the years I have been using a salt lamp. It is also a bit cheaper than this brand.
