Here’s how the charcoal facial scrub works:

Activated charcoal draws impurities, dirt & excess oil out of the skin, giving the pores a gentle deep cleanse.
Kaolin clay also draws out toxins from the skin; plus it stimulates circulation & regulates sebum (skin oil) production, to prevent dryness.
Sugar has a gentle exfoliating action.
Coconut powder soothes the skin & locks in moisture.
Lemongrass is antibacterial & also has skin-toning astringent properties.
Chamomile is anti-inflammatory & soothing.
Apricot oil feeds the skin with nourishing vitamin A, E & GLA (omega-6 fatty acid); it also tones & firms the skin.

Directions

Using a spoon, scoop out a little of the scrub & apply to wet skin.
Using gentle circular motions, lightly massage into your face & neck.
Rinse & pat dry. Follow with a natural toner for best results.

Please Note: Because this scrub contains activated charcoal powder, it may take a little more effort to wash off. If necessary, use a small amount of cleanser or olive oil on a cotton wool pad to help remove the scrub; it is well worth the extra effort!

All my facial products are natural now, but I struggled a bit with the odd pimple / bumps on my face at times. This takes care of it and leaves my skin feeling super soft! I use the scrub on my face and then leave it on for 10-15 minutes.... I love this facial scrub!!

The kelp face scrub which I love was out of stock so I tried this one instead. Just as great, thick and scrubby and lasts for ages!

This product is too course for the face and neck, but great for the body. It smells nice. It can be messy so use in the bath or shower. A little goes a long way!

Served me well when my skin was congested and oily. A bit of an abrasive physical exfoliator, so use your ring and pinkie finger to massage your face to avoid being too rough (I actually think it would make a great back and body scrub) The botanical oils leaves your face feeling smooth and hydrated.

I use this as a full body scrub as the granules are quite large and not so suited for regular use on the face. However, it definitely pulled all of the dirt and blemishes out of my skin and within a week my blemishes cleared up. It has an amazing fragrance and contains really natural ingredients. My skin is much smoother!
