• The ascorbyl palmitate that may be used in this Esse product is a derivative of ascorbic acid and palmitic acid - the palmitic acid is isolated from either coconut, grape seed or palm oil. Esse have ensured to use a supplier that has RSPO certification for times where palm oil is used in their products.
• The concern with hydrogenated oils is that there is the possibility of generating trans-fats. The hydrogenated oils in Esse products are processed at low temperatures, in carefully controlled conditions, to avoid trans-fats in the final products.
